The mission of the Department is to provide temporary assistance to sustain low income and disabled persons, and to protect and support individuals in achieving the greatest degree of independence.

Independent/Community Living

• Housing/Residential services (e.g., apartment, low-income housing)
• Financial assistance (e.g., public assistance, financial literacy)

Healthcare

• Health specialists serving youth with disabilities (e.g., developmental pediatrician, occupational therapist, physical therapist, behavioral support)
