About
We are a group of highly trained Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselors (CASAC), striving to help our clients meet their needs. C.H.A.D. is licensed by New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) as an Outpatient facility that provides clinical services for people with an addiction to substances and their families who have been impacted by their addiction. Outpatient services may be delivered at different levels of intensity according to the needs of the patient. These services include counseling, education, and connections to community services.
C.H.A.D is the prevention provider of Cayuga County through OASAS and delivers a wide range of services including evidence-based education programs, workshops, and training sessions in community-based settings like schools. C.H.A.D. also houses the Cayuga County Drug Free Community Coalition which, works on policy and enforcement efforts to reduce underage substance use and creates positive alternative activities for youth.
