About
The primary focus of the New York State Occupational Health Clinic Network is to provide high quality occupational medicine services, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of occupational diseases.
Staffed by physicians with a specialty in occupational medicine and with expertise in epidemiology and toxicology, these clinical centers will serve as regional centers of excellence in occupational medicine.
Network clinics will work in close collaboration with other disciplines, including industrial hygiene, health education, social work and public health. They will develop strong linkages with health care providers in the community in order to provide high quality, integrated and coordinated occupational medicine care and to contribute to the public health of workers in New York State.
Endeavoring to understand the relationship between work and health in a changing occupational landscape, the OHCCs will remain responsive to the working population in our region.
