Aurora Adult Day Services

About

Aurora Adult Day Services (AADS) is a community based, non-profit, non-sectarian, social model adult day program. Since 1991, we have served over 375 families who live in East Aurora and 20-25 area southtown communities. AADS fulfills all Federal and State requirements for a social model adult day program under regulations issued by the NYS Office for the Aging. The program is monitored through the Erie County Department of Senior Services with an annual survey. AADS contracts with several insurance companies through the Managed Long Term Care Program. This program provides services both at home and at AADS for persons receiving Medicaid benefits. AADS is registered with the NYS Department of Charities, member of the NYS Adult Day Services Association and is associated with the Alzheimer’s Association of WNY. The mission of Aurora Adult Day Services (AADS) is to offer programs and services for adults with cognitive and/or physical impairment, and to provide relief and support for those who care for them. AADS services consist of a variety of social, recreational and educational program designed to provide mental, physical and social stimulation. Activities can be easily modified to accommodate the special needs of people with impaired memory, vision, hearing and mobility.
