The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. For over eighty years, the our YWCA has been making a difference in the lives of women, children and families in White Plains and Westchester by: - Being the largest provider of supportive housing for low-income women in New York State and the only provider in Westchester County - Cultivating girls to be tomorrow’s leaders - Preparing children for a bright future through one of the largest early education and youth services programs in the County; and - Putting better health and wellness within reach of all, including the developmentally disabled.
